Digital Signage RSS News App

  • Go to the RSS web page and copy the RSS feed URL (e.g. https://www.jpl.nasa.gov/feeds/news/).
  • Go to the Management Console.
  • Click on the playlist then the layer where you will add RSS.
  • If the layer has no media, the apps dialog will open. Otherwise, click on Add New.
  • Click on News Apps.
  • Click on RSS.
  • Paste the URL in the RSS URL box.
  • Select a theme: Theme 1, Theme 2, or Images Only.
    Images Only will only get images without displaying the news headline and description
  • Select Headline color, Description Color, and Background Color.
  • Choose the stories count (how many stories to get).
  • Wait for the stories to be processed.
  • Check the stories and use the arrows to navigate left and right through them.
