Show the latest stories from well-known news sources, such as BBC, CBS, NBC, Al Jazeera or France24, on your screens. Each story shows its headline, description and image, and new stories appear by themselves.
Note: News Apps are offered on most layers of the built-in layouts, but not on video walls or on a layer you have resized.
How to Add a News App
- Open the playlist, then click the layer. See Playlist Media Management.
- If the layer is empty, the content apps open. If it already has media, click Add New.
- Click News Apps, then choose a news source, for example BBC NEWS.
- Choose the topic from the list at the top, for example news, sports or a country. The topics depend on the source.
- Click the theme button to choose how the stories look.
- Set the Headline Color, Description Color and Background Color.
- Set Stories Count: how many stories to show, from 1 to 10 (5 by default).
- Click Save and wait for the stories to load.
- Use the arrows on the sides of the preview to check the stories, then click Publish changes of this playlist.
